the staff were excellent and super friendly. Breakfast went later than I'm used to and they didn't run out of anything even though it was busy. The rooms were also clean and accommodating.
Really nice, clean, new rooms! Well decorated. Breakfast was great! Staff was warm and inviting. Would definitely stay there again in we come back to the area.
When checking in, the woman at the front desk wasn't very friendly. I don't know her name as she did not have a name tag on. She had short, kind of curly blond hair and was older. Upon check in she didn't even acknowledge my presence at the counter and I had to say hello to her first. While I was standing at the front desk my kids went to check the pool. They came back and told me that there was a sign saying it was closed. The women snapped at my daughter and said "I plan on opening it soon, that's why it says TEMPORARILY closed". Ok, temporarily could mean a few hours or a few days. Totally unnecessary for her to snap at a child. Overall our stay was fine but after a long day of travel I was hoping to receive a warmer welcome. She clearly doesn't enjoy her job or she was having a bad day. We've stayed here in the past because my kids love the pool but even they were so turned off by her negative attitude.
Used this to split a long trip. Rates spike dramatically if you don't book far in advance. Room was clean and large except for the bathroom which had mold on the wallpaper above the shower. Pool was great for kids to use. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast and was clean and well maintained by staff.
Friendly staff, enjoyed the room, breakfast was basic, but enjoyable.
