My mom and I cried all night after my dad was transferred there from a rehab center in Florida. I am so glad we were able to transfer him to Pinecrest in Powers, Mi. Consider all options prior to admitting your loved one to this facility.
This facility is run down and hasn't been remodeled since its opening (1970's). Beds are old, bathrooms are barely handicapped accessible and the rehab PT room is a joke!

old, run down depressing. Mom there 48 hrs and crying to leave. Rude staff and having to wait for pain meds until she is crying in pain. We will be moving her. If this is the best we can do for our elderly, God help us.
Mom is here for rehab and they are treating her well, good food, activities. Nursing homes are sad places, the staff here is overworked, but they are pleasant, helpful and understanding.
I'm thankful they are here.
The place could use some remodeling but really good quality care!
